Congratulations to the boys golf team as they captured their 2nd consecutive state golf championship. The boys had a team total of 298, 7 shots better than the second place team. Individually, Connor Shrock finished 4th, Henry Simpson finished 6th, and Chase Hanna finished 9th. Congrats to the coaches and the boys for a job well done!
The 2010-2011 school year marks the first year that Jeremy Higgins will serve as the Athletic Director at SME. Mr. Higgins has taught and coached at SME for the previous 4 years and looks forward to working with all the student-athletes, coaches, and community members in this new position. In addition to his duties as Athletic Director, Mr. Higgins will also be teaching chemistry at SME. In his free time, Jeremy enjoys playing golf, watching any type of athletic event, and spending time with his wife Ashley and other family and friends.
