Boys Tennis – State Runner-Up

The tennis team had a successful weekend at state despite the weather. Ross Guignon was 2^nd in singles, Jackson O’Gorman-Bean was 4^th, and Sam Amrein and Jake Glazer were 4^th in doubles. Everyone had to play four matches on Sat. because the rain played havoc with the Fri. schedule. I really do think Jackson could have taken 3^rd on a regular schedule, but 4 singles matches in one day with very little rest(he also suffers from back issues) was just a bit more than he could do. All in all, we took 2^nd as a team and had a great year. Thank you all for working with these boys all through the season. They did an excellent job of representing SME.
